The Cottonwood Artists' School Gallery regularly featues the work of local and regional artists, including our students and instructors. Each month a new exhibit is featured with an opening reception on the First Friday evening of the month. Our gallery openings are a part of the Downtown Art Walks in conjunction with other galleries downtown. They include the Smokebrush Foundation, The Art Mill galleries, Coburn Gallery at Colorado College, the FAC Modern, Pikes Peak Community Downtown Studio, and others. These festive occasions include live music, light refreshments, and outstanding art! At the Cottonwood facility there are over 36 artist studios open to the public on First Fridays. Guest can mingle amongst a variety of artwork including oil, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, mixed media, and ceramics.
